House Stress

One of the most dreaded words in my vocabulary...Moving. Since I'll be moving to Fort Worth in the late summer, I put my house on the market a little less than two weeks ago. I figured, hey, it'll probably take at least a few months (if at all) to sell it due to the economy. Boy, was I wrong! I'm already in the negotiation process with a potential buyer who will want to move in by the end of April. Such a wonderful (since I was worried it wouldn't even sell) and horrific (see below) issue to be facing.

So what does this mean for me?

It means that I will likely have to engage in that dreaded word twice! Ah...kind of makes me want to pull my hair out! In preparation for this sale working out, I'm in the mad dash to find housing options for the next few months...which due to the short period of time, my wonderful roommate (aka my Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, Penny), and the not so large city of Tuscaloosa, is more difficult than I initially thought. I have some ideas, but obviously they are not great price options.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions out there for me, I'd welcome the input! Plus, I'd rather have some hair left by the time I make it to Fort Worth ;)

First Time

Hello Everyone (or the whole lot of nobody that are likely not reading this)! So here I am...starting a blog...something I felt certain would never have happened in my lifetime. However, I have been inspired by a few of my friends who have been sharing their lives with me through this medium and have been thankful at how it keeps me involved in their lives even when I'm far away.

I'm hoping for this to be a way to share myself with old friends and new and possibly learn something new about myself in the process. As someone in their late 20s, I've got a fairly good handle on who I am, but we're all evolving and I look forward to where my life is taking me. Come and join me if you like and hopefully it will continue to be an interesting ride!
